Sara Flores teaches personalized voice and piano lessons to children and adults.  Sara holds a B.A. with Honors in Music (Vocal Performance) from Lewis & Clark College and has been teaching since 2006. Sara’s teaching approach offers students a balance of developing creativity, mastering healthy technique, understanding music theory, improving sight-reading, and exploring improvisation and composition. Teri Forscher-Milter holds 25 years of professional performing and teaching experience in all ages and levels of flute, Kinder-Flute for ages 5-8, group and private recorder classes for ages 5-9 and beginning piano for all ages. Forscher-Milter taught as adjunct instructor at USC-Aiken, Newberry College, Presbyterian College, Maranatha College, and most recently taught the graduate flute performance majors at USC in Columbia, SC. She was awarded Presidential Scholar in the Arts in 1994 by President Bill Clinton at the White House and has received numerous solo and chamber music awards throughout her career. Mrs. Forscher-Milter graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music and has performed with major orchestras in the U.S., including the Cleveland Orchestra and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.She has a passion for teaching all ages and works heavily on the art of practicing, with the belief that successful practicing is the ticket to success! She takes pride in developing a community experience in her studio, with two recitals each year and fun events throughout!

I received my Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Iowa and my Masters of Music from the University of Colorado.  I have trained extensively with Barbara Lister-Sink and specialize in training my students in the Lister-Sink Injury Preventive Technique.  I believe every student has a hidden potential that is waiting for release.  I have helped students achieve excellence in whatever their goals may be, whether it is playing for recital, with a group, in a competition, or getting into a college music program.  I also work with injured pianists to retrain them and allow them to once again fly in musical freedom.  My ultimate goal is for each and every student develop a love of music that will last a lifetime.

Holly studied piano at the University of Northern Colorado under Errol Haun, graduating in 2010 with her minor in piano. She has been teaching in her home studio since graduation, in Westminster near Standley Lake and has had students from Erie, Louisville, Lafayette, Arvada, and Westminster. Her preferred method is Shaak Piano Partners, but if the student is coming from another method, she will consider continuing it. She supplements theory and exercises as necessary. Children beginning at the age of 4 years old through middle school are her priority, but has occasionally taught adults.  She teaches alongside her 9-5 job, in the evenings and on weekends.
